Before You Travel

Dear Participant,

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Ovarian Club XIV (OC) Meeting and the 6^th Congress on Controversies in Preconception, Preimplantation and Prenatal Genetic Diagnosis (CoGEN) on November 7-9, 2019, in Paris, France.  In preparation for this upcoming event, we would like to provide you with the below information for your perusal before traveling to Paris:

Getting to the Meeting Hotel:
Taxi:
Charles de Gaulle Airport: Estimated Travel Time: 32.0 km. About 40 minutes to arrive from the airport to the hotel & the cost is approx. 60-70 EUR.
Orly Airport: Estimated Travel Time: 17.3 km. About 32 minutes to arrive from the airport to the hotel & the cost is approx. 40-55 EUR.

Public transportation: 
Charles de Gaulle Airport: From the Gare RER Roissy Pôle station take the RER B 11 stops, exit Châtelet – Les Halles, switch to La Defense line 1, 3 stops, exit Tuileries. Hotel is 350 m from station. Travel time should take around 55 minutes.

From Aéroport Orly 4 (Sud) station take the T7 Villejuif – Louis Aragon, 4 stops, exit La Fraternelle. Transfer in the Rungis-la-Fraternelle station to RER CGARE DE PONTOISE Gare de Pontoise, 11 stops. Exit Gare Musée d’Orsay. The hotel is a 650 m from station. Travel time should take around 57 minutes.

Pre-Meeting Workshops (Thursday, November 7, 2019)

Registration and Hospitality Desk
The Registration Desk will be situated on the ground floor of the Meeting Venue and open during the following hours:

Please register upon arrival to receive your meeting kit containing the OC & CoGEN Program Book, your personal name badge, invitations, etc.  Please remember to wear your name badge to all activities and social events.

Exhibition Opening Hours 
The Exhibition Area is located on the ground floor of the Meeting venue, and will be open during the following times:

Welcome Reception
An informal OC & CoGEN Welcome Reception will be held Thursday, November 7^th, at 18:30. All registered participants are invited to join!

Invited Speakers Presentations
Speakers are requested to hand their presentation to the technician in the speaker’s ready corner in the Concorde hall 2 hours prior to their presentation scheduled time.

Poster Presentations
Abstract posters will be available for viewing on-site over the two days of the Congress, in two groups: Group A on Friday (November 8th) and Group B on Saturday (November 9th).

• Posters should be mounted on the day of their presentation, on the boards provided on-site, no later than 10:00.
• Mounting material will be provided by the Congress Secretariat.
• Poster presenters should plan to be beside their posters to answer questions during the breaks as scheduled in the program.
• Posters should be dismantled no later than 17:00 on the day of their presentation.
• The Congress organizer is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time!

Visas
Prior to booking flights, registrants are strongly advised to confirm with their travel agent whether they require a Visa to travel to Paris. Information about Visa requirements can be found on the World Travel Guide website: www.worldtravelguide.net.

The weather in Paris at the beginning of November is usually chilly. Average temperature is around 11-12˚C during the day, and an average of 6-3˚C at night.
